The Parker family live in a new build detached home in Mansfield, and with 3 young sons, they quickly outgrew the original floorplan.

Space for them to play with all of their toys, while keeping the rest of the downstairs less cluttered was the aim of their home improvement project and the couple started to explore the options for extending their home. After searching online, they came across Lifestyle Windows – their local Ultraframe installer – and they explained the wide range of conservatory and extension options that are available using Ultraframe roofing systems.

Love at First Sight

After seeing the Ultraroof tiled roof system and hearing about the many options for creating an extension using it, the Parkers realised that it matched their vision exactly. Working closely with Lifestyle Windows, they chose a 5m x 3m lean-to extension, featuring full height frames in anthracite grey and an Ultraroof, complete with 2 full-length glazed panels.

Explaining more, Mrs Parker said: “As soon as we saw the Ultraroof tiled roof system we knew that it was the one for us. We loved the authentic tile effect, loved the colour options and loved the quality of the product.”

The finished extension is contemporary in style thanks to the minimalist full height frames and on-trend anthracite grey colour which is complemented perfectly by Ultraroof’s carbon grey tiles.

For the Parker family, it has provided vital extra space for their boys to play, as Mrs Parker explained: “We absolutely love our new space; it’s everything we hoped it would be. The boys now have a big space to play and make their own and it’s lovely to watch them enjoying it. Having this extra room has changed the way we live dramatically and we would definitely recommend Ultraframe and Lifestyle Windows. Their customer service was great and they were friendly and professional. My parents need a new conservatory roof and they are hoping to get an Ultraframe one now!”
