After their existing conservatory suffered storm damage due to heavy hail, the Cowley family needed a new roof and decided to take the opportunity to upgrade their conservatory into a modern new extension. The old conservatory featured a polycarbonate roof and after speaking to their installer, Sapphire Windows, Mr & Mrs Cowley chose an energy efficient tiled Ultraroof along with new windows and doors in contemporary anthracite grey.

The existing footprint provided the space the family needed and so the team at Sapphire removed the old conservatory and used the existing base. The roof style also remained the same (Georgian) but was given a whole new look thanks to the beautiful tiled finish and 4 full length glazed panels to flood the room below with natural light.

On the interior, the plastered finish of the Ultraroof means it looks more like an extension now, as opposed to the old conservatory. The energy efficiency of Ultraroof also means that the updated living space is a comfortable temperature throughout the year, just like any other room in their home.
