The Ultraframe Classic: A Conservatory Roof Like No Other

The Ultraframe Classic continues to be an enduringly popular choice for discerning homeowners looking for a conservatory roof they can trust. In this article, we’ll take a closer look at this high-performing system to find out why it’s the industry’s favourite conservative roof – and will uncover some of its unique benefits in more details.

Achieve a Classic Style

Our Classic roof nostalgically recreates those timeless designs that were so characteristically a part of the Victorian era. Featuring glazed areas designed to encourage in as much light as possible, this conservatory roof has been designed for modern living – allowing homeowners to benefit from a space that’s more like a room.

The appearance of your conservatory roof will catch the attention of visitors to your home. The components used in its design aren’t bulky; instead, they are constructed from finely-engineered aluminium that will work in close partnership with the uPVC profile to create stunning visuals that visitors are bound to notice

A Truly Versatile Design

The continuing appeal of the Ultraframe Classic roof is perhaps due to its almost limitless configurability. If you have been looking for a replacement conservatory roof system that can adapt to any existing design and shape, you’ll be pleased to hear that the Classic will be fully compatible with your design aims.

The Classic roof can be further customised to suit your design preferences Not sure which glazing is best? Ask your approved Ultra Installer to discuss the benefits of the 24, 25 and 35mm glass – and introduce you to Ultraframe’s portfolio of polycarbonate profile colours, including white, mahogany, rosewood and deeplas.

Dependable and Resilient

Our customers need a conservatory roof that will deliver more than just pleasing aesthetics. The frames of your existing building will need to be able to support the weight of the proposed installation to prevent structural problems later.

We use U-Design – a conservatory design program – to anticipate weather conditions in your area based on your postcode. This means your structure will be able to tolerate the weight of your new conservatory roof – even when laden with snow.

A Streamlined Process

To make the installation of your replacement conservatory roof as simple as possible – and optimise the process for your approved Ultra Installer – we pre-fabricate the Classic system at one of our factories. This mimimises the amount of work that needs to be completed on site and means you won’t need to worry about disruption caused by noise or mess.

Protection from the Weather

During the pre-fabrication process, weatherproofing technology is fitted into your conservatory roof that includes weather seals, secondary drainage and flashing – all of which work together to make your new product completely resistant to water penetration. The Classic roof will protect you from the very worst of the UK weather.

Upgrade Your Classic Conservatory Roof

Your replacement conservatory roof can be bespoke-designed to include a range of other high-performing options and as follows:

Cornicing. If you want to create beautiful sightlines, our decorative cornicing will allow you to hide your roofline and conceal your guttering by choosing from a range of different options that will suit all types of the conservatory – ranging from smaller builds that incorporate bi-fold doors, through to standard contemporary builds.

central lighting panel. When it’s dark outside, you’ll want to keep your conservatory bright. Central lighting panel is an insulated electrical housing system that allows for the inclusion of lighting in places that, ordinarily, wouldn’t be possible. By incorporating a central lighting panel into the design of your conservatory roof, you’ll create a space more like a room.

insulated internal pelmet Orangery. Using the Classic roof system as the basis for its design, the insulated internal pelmet orangery goes a step further by allowing for the introduction of an innovatively designed engineered steel frame that’s situated internally. The inside of the conservatory roof is then plastered to create a perimeter ceiling and an Orangery feels.
