Clitheroe’s most successful businessman revisits the place where it all began...
John Lancaster MBE and his wife Rosemary MBE visited Ultraframe as part of a book signing session organised for Ultraframe employees, for the launch of their autobiography written by Rosemary.
Asking John and Rosemary for their thoughts on today; John said , ‘ We were so pleased to be invited to come along today to sign the book, and meet with people who are still working here almost 35 years later. It is extremely encouraging and reassuring to come round the factory and see the new developments, we are so proud of Julian Snape (CEO), Andy Crowe (Operations Director) and the team in the way they continue to uphold the company values, guaranteeing quality innovative products alongside excellent customer service.’
Rosemary commented that it was a special day for her as it has been over 10 years since she last visited the factory, but it was emotional as it was great to see lots of familiar faces, people who have been with the company for years and indeed some who left and have now returned.
Julian Slade, CEO said, ‘It is great to see John and Rosemary again as our business today is built on the strong foundations they established over 30 years ago. Our values of Integrity, Innovation, Quality and Service lie at the heart of what we do. It’s very satisfying that we are able to offer our products to local residents through our own Clitheroe based installation business. Warm modern conservatories, solid roof upgrades to existing conservatories and sparkling new extensions are all part of our market leading range of products, direct decedents from the fantastic conservatory roofs that John invented.’
Rosemary kindly donated a number of books to Ultraframe employees and in return they made donations to the Lancaster Foundation in support of this very deserving local charity helping people in the U.K. and Africa.
